I am a sixth year Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University. My primary interests are in philosophy of language, epistemology and in the history of philosophy in the Islamic world (my current work focuses on Abu Bakr al-Razi). My research output can be found here.

I did my M.A. in Philosophy and B.A. in Translation and Interpreting Studies at Bogazici University in İstanbul, Turkey. I am from Havza, Samsun, a little town in northern Turkey with excellent hot springs. I am also type-1 diabetic since 2002.
