I am a Ph.D. candidate (6th year) in Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University. My primary interests are in philosophy of language, epistemology and in the history of philosophy in the Islamic world (esp. Abū Bakr al-Rāzī). My research output can be found here.

I did my M.A. in Philosophy and B.A. in Translation and Interpreting Studies at Boğaziçi University in İstanbul, Turkey. I am from Havza, Samsun, a little town in northern Turkey with excellent hot springs. I am also type-1 diabetic since 2002.
